I’ve listed them in order of importance. The reason why I listed motivation first is because there’s a lot of work involved in making money with websites. You might have a mindset of easy money making online, but it is not. It may get easier down the road, but it’s definitely not easy when you’re first starting off. Like any business, it takes a lot of hard work to get to the top. You will need a lot of motivation if you want to make any money with websites. It will start off slow, but if you keep working on it and self-motivate yourself, then the sky is definitely the limit.

Since your income will be coming from websites, you’ll need something to generate them. There are plenty of website designer softwares out there that offers many tools which makes your life easier when designing websites. Personally, I would pick a software which can do everything. By everything, I mean it can create the website and publish it on your web host. Which brings us to our next point.

Obviously, for other people to see your sites, you will need to host them on a web server. The two reputable web hosts out there seems to be GoDaddy and host gator. When you host your websites, you will need to buy a domain name. These are what you type in your search bar, at the top of your browser. You can buy these domain names from the web hosters and they can cost as little as a few cents. It is important that you pick your domain names according to the content of your websites.

Advertising programs are a little tricky. You will probably spend a lot of time trying to find advertising programs which you can put on your sites which will ultimately give you a large income. A favourite that everybody seems to go for is Google AdSense. This is an advertising program by Google which works as a pay per click ad. This means that if you place this on your website, and someone clicks on the ad, you will get a certain amount of money by Google depending on how popular your site is. The ads also automatically conforms with your site topic. For example, if you have a site about skin care, Google AdSense will automatically put up ads in regards to skin care.

Lastly, most people are lead to believe that you need some html knowledge to actually making some money using websites. This is a complete misconception. While it would be handy to know html, it is not required. Now days, you can easily find your html problems by searching it on Google. Website designing softwares also minimizes your need of knowing html by having graphical tools which you can drag and drop on a canvas; which will then generate an html code for you.
